The School Committee gave the go-ahead to the Holliston Athletic Boosters Association  to continue fund-raising efforts for its plan to replace the old concession stand at Kamitian Field with a “multipurpose building,” which would serve as a full-service concession stand, ticket booth, and storage area. The boosters group has raised nearly $40,000 of the projected $75,000 cost, according to its website, and is planning to break ground for the new building in the spring. To help raise the balance, the group is selling $10 “Buy Holliston and Build It” coupon booklets, which offer discounts to more than 20 local businesses, as well as a coupon for free admission to a Holliston High School home football game and a slice of pizza.
