Local officials would like to remind dog owners that dog license renewals are now underway and must be received by Feb. 28 to avoid an administrative fee of $5 per month. The fee for spayed or neutered dogs is now $13 with proof from a veterinarian. Dogs that have not been spayed or neutered are $14. All dogs must have proof of a current rabies vaccination. The town mailed dog license renewal notices to residents on Dec. 13. Residents may renew their dog’s registration between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the town clerk’s office, 36 Bartlet St. Renewals will also be accepted through the mail by sending a check payable to the Town of Andover and required documentation to the town clerk’s office.
