The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors for its third annual Mardi Gras party, which is scheduled for 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2., at the Montvale Plaza, 54 Montvale Ave. This year, the party — which marks the beginning of the 40-day Lenten season that precedes Easter Sunday — will feature a disc jockey, a juggler, a magician, and a palm reader. As in years past, the menu will be strictly Cajun. Tickets will be $65 per person or $600 per table of 10. Festive casual attire is suggested, and many attendees dress up in Mardi Gras costumes to vie for the titles of king and queen of Mardi Gras. The cost of a sponsorship varies. Proceeds will help fund community events, including the chamber’s summer concert series, the annual holiday tree lighting, and scholarships for graduating seniors. For more information, contact the chamber at 781-438-0001.
