At its meeting last week, the Board of Selectmen decided that it would operate as a two-member board until a vacant seat is filled at the April 8 town election. Al Merritt, a member since 2008, resigned at the end of 2012 for health reasons. His one-year unexpired term will be among the positions listed on the ballot at the annual election.
