College-bound students and their parents can receive free help with financial aid applications next Sunday at North Shore Community College’s Lynn campus, 300 Broad St. Financial aid and higher education experts will provide one-on-one help in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form, which is required to receive many types of federal, state, and private financial aid. Low-income, first-generation students are especially encouraged to attend. In addition to high school students, adult students preparing to enroll in college in 2013 are welcome. Spanish translators will be available. The event is part of FAFSA Day Massachusetts, a program in which help with FAFSA forms is provided at multiple sites across the state. To register or for more information, go to www.FAFSAday.org. Information can also be obtained by calling 877-424-7627.
