The Winchester Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual Business Expo from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12, at the Winchester Sons of Italy on Swanton Street. Admission is free. This year’s event will feature a philanthropic component. The chamber will give away a total of $1,000 to three local nonprofits. The recipients will be determined by drawing. “We believe this will be a fun and mutually beneficial way to foster even more community participation in this popular, but still new, Winchester Chamber of Commerce event,” said chamber president Patrick Fortin, in a written statement. “It helps us encourage attendance and gives back to nonprofit groups.” The chamber, which has grown to include more than 300 members, holds the expo to help chamber members who do not have a storefront or downtown commercial space to showcase their businesses and network with other chamber members and the community. For more information, visit www.winchesterchamber.com. Nonprofits interested in signing up for the drawing must be registered members of the chamber. To register a nonprofit, contact Janet Wolbrom, associate director of the chamber, at 781-729-8870, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
