Dog license registrations due Jan. 31

Dog owners have until Jan. 31 to purchase a dog license. Licenses are required for dogs that are 3 months of age and older. Licenses are $15 per dog, and applications must include a copy of a current rabies certificate. Applications may be picked up at the town clerk’s office at Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St. People who license their dogs after Jan. 31 could be subject to a $25 fine.
