Mayor Donna D. Holaday and members of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry are scheduled to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Ivy Lane at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Ivy Lane, a vintage boutique at 31 Pleasant St. in downtown Newburyport, is an exclusive retailer of CeCe Caldwell paints. The 2,000-square-foot shop also offers antique treasures, including home decor furnishings and accessories and designer textiles. Ivy Lane has been open since late September. “We’re both North Shore girls, born and raised, so when we decided to open our own business, Newburyport was the only place we looked,” said Jennifer Wilkins, who co-owns the business with Cheryl Judge. “We’re thrilled to be here.” Door prizes will be offered to the first 20 people to arrive at the event, Wilkins said. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The public is invited.
