The public will have a chance to weigh in on plans to build a minor league baseball park in Malden next week. The city and the Malden Redevelopment Authority will hold a public hearing on Monday, Feb. 4, on the proposed 6,500-seat park, according to an announcement from the city. In December, development group Boston Baseball Field of Dreams LLC signed a 40-year, $20 million lease to redevelop 6.4 acres on Commercial Street that was formerly a National Grid plant into a ballpark. The developers are also in negotiations to buy or lease three adjacent lots. The public hearing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in City Council Chambers at Malden Government Center.
