Local business leader Robert Iannaco, an administrator at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, recently was appointed to the Northern Essex Community College Foundation board. The NECC Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization that offers support and expanded opportunities for the college. Incorporated in 1972, the foundation hosts a variety of fund-raising events to support student scholarships, equipment purchases, program revitalization, faculty and staff development, and other needs. Iannaco, of Hudson, N.H., holds a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and serves on the board of directors of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.
