Taylor Lirakis , Tewksbury/Methuen: The sophomore goalie stoned Stoneham, making 36 saves in a 2-2 tie.

Cam Owens , Wilmington: The program’s all-time leading goal scorer, the senior forward netted the go-ahead goal, shorthanded, with 1:18 left to lift the Wildcats to a 3-2 win over Watertown.

Ali O’Leary , Reading: In a Middlesex League Liberty matchup against a strong Lexington squad, the freshman standout delivered a pair of goals in a 3-0 win.

Jena Pantano , Winchester: The junior goaltender turned aside 16 shots in a 6-0 shutout of Belmont, with classmate Ashley Moran netting a pair of goals.

Woburn girls at Reading, Wednesday, 6: In their first meeting on Jan. 12, Woburn pulled out a thrilling 3-1 win, adding a late empty-netter. The Tanners are 5-0-1 since, while the Rockets are 5-1. Kayla Smith (23 goals, 21 assists) and Ashley Moran (17 goals, 21 assists) are racking up sizzling stats for Woburn, while freshman Ali O’Leary (21 goals, 13 assists) is a player to watch for Reading.
