The Democratic City Committee is holding a caucus on Saturday at 11. a.m. to elect delegates and alternates to this year’s Democratic State Convention. The meeting will be held in the community room of the Housing Authority, 10 Church St. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. and registration closes at 10:45 a.m. The caucus is open to any Lynn resident 18 and over who was a registered Democrat as of last Dec. 31. A total of 46 delegates and 21 alternates will be elected, split among the city’s seven wards. The adoption of a party platform for the next four years will be the main business at the convention, which is scheduled for July 13 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell. For more information, contact Agnes Ricko, the committee cochairwoman, at 781-599-9347.
