Lowell Kids Week 2013 will take place during school vacation week, running Monday, Feb. 18, through Saturday, Feb. 23, at locations throughout the city. All programs are free, but some require preregistration. All children participating in a program must be accompanied by an adult. Highlights will include family movies, ice skating, weaving and knitting workshops, child and grandparent activities, Jedi knight training, and a winter family scavenger hunt and walk. Lowell Kids Week is produced by the city, Lowell National Historical Park, the Lowell Recreation Department, and Girls Incorporated of Greater Lowell in partnership with many city attractions and institutions.
