More than 100 residents traveled to Northern Essex Community College during the Jan. 28 snowstorm to take part in Possible Dreams, the sixth annual community conversation hosted by Team Haverhill, a volunteer action group dedicated to making the city a better place to live, work, and play. During the event, Team Haverhill announced key projects for 2013 and 2014, including an ongoing youth mentoring program, the annual Haverhill Farmers Market, the creation of an art walk on the Bradford Rail Trail, and a 2014 edition of the popular Shoe-la-bration that was held in 2009. To learn more about the projects, visit teamhaverhill.org. To find out about volunteer opportunities related to the projects, send an e-mail to the group’s volunteer coordinator, Julie Herget, at email@example.com.
