The city is exploring the possibility of starting a free shuttle service connecting outlying parking areas to downtown. The idea of a shuttle connecting downtown with the 89-space city parking lot being constructed on leased land on Vaughan Street and the Community Church on Chase Drive was suggested by City Councilor Tony Coviello at a recent meeting. It was also suggested that the shuttle service might also include the Masonic Lot on the corner of Middle Street and Miller Avenue. City Manager John Bohenko said he would contact the Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation to determine the cost and feasibility of a shuttle.
