Planning board to review expansion

Two Malden nonprofits are looking to expand their joint location on Eastern Avenue. The city’s Planning Board will review a three-floor expansion at 54 Eastern Ave., home to Tri-City Community Action Program and Bread of Life, that would add 14 units for low-income housing, offices, and a food pantry kitchen and dining room. Both organizations moved into the space in 2011. The Planning Board will review the proposal in a meeting Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. in Malden Government Center.
