The third annual Westford Snow Sculpture Contest has been extended to Feb. 28. Thanks to last weekend’s storm, contestants finally have enough snow to start sculpting. The contest is sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and the Westford FunFest Committee. Contestants may enter by taking a photo of their snow sculpture and mailing one or two pictures to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell, Hicks Farm, 124 Main St., Westford, MA 01886 or e-mailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include the name of the participants, division (for example: children, family/groups, or adults), theme, address, and telephone number. Cash prizes will be awarded in each division. Winners will be announced March 1. For more information about the contest, including guidelines and photos of some of the entries, visit www.westford.com/funfest.
