Bid opening Thursday for mowing contract

The city on Thursday will hold a public bid opening to select a company to provide lawn mowing and maintenance services. The company selected will cut, trim, weed and prune 21 public green spaces around the city. Litter and trash pickup will also be required. The contract will run from April 1 to Dec. 31 of this year, but the city will have two one-year renewal options. The bid opening will be held at 10 a.m. in the park department office at Mount Hood Golf Course on Slayton Road.
