Derek Collins , North Andover: The senior guard found his stroke in the Division 2 North semifinals, scorching the nets for 26 points on the strength of seven 3-pointers in a 68-44 win over Wakefield.


Steve Collins , Lynn English: The sensational sophomore guard scored 34 points in a fast-paced Division 1 North semifinal, leading the Bulldogs to a 94-87 win over Everett.

Casey McLaughlin , Central Catholic: The 6-foot senior forward poured in 21 of her game-high 24 points in the second half, including the 1,000th of her career, in a 62-31 Division 1 North semifinal win over three-time defending state champion Andover.

Tyler Nelson , Central Catholic: The sharp-shooting 6-2 junior guard was silky smooth Tuesday night, dropping a game-high 31 points in a 61-48 victory over Andover in the Division 1 North semis.

Kayla Riley, Whittier: The sophomore guard scored a game-high 21 points, draining four 3s, in a 52-46 win over Mystic Valley in the Division 4 North semifinals. Teammate Andrea Terranova also chipped in 16 points.
