A May 6 trial date has been set for a former city school bus driver charged with child endangerment while operating under the influence, operating under the influence, and leaving the scene after property damage. The charges stem from an incident on Oct. 25, 2011, in which a Billerica woman, Mary Morrison, 53, allegedly drove her school bus, with 14 children on board, while intoxicated. Lowell police also allege Morrison hit two parked vehicles on Broadway between 7 and 8 a.m. that morning and kept on driving. Morrison is free on personal recognizance until her court date; she has been ordered to submit to random alcohol testing and has been banned from driving until her trial begins.
