The condominium association at Hatter’s Point Condominiums, 60 Merrimac St., has taken over the second phase of the redevelopment of the historic former hat factory on the banks of the Merrimac River. Phase 1 of the age-restricted (age 55 and over) residential development included 44 units and was completed in 2007, but construction stopped with the death of developer Bill Sullivan in 2008. Phase 2 will be built in the remaining space, expected to be 36 to 40 new units, according to Scott David of Tiger Property Services, a consultant working with the association. The association is seeking proposals from developers. Inquiries should be director to David at 978-423-1685 or email@example.com.
