Ducks Unlimited fund-raising dinner

The local chapter of Ducks Unlimited, a nonprofit wetlands conservation group, is holding its eighth annual Ipswich River fund-raising dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Hillview Country Club, 149 North St. . The event will feature live and silent auctions for fishing trips, artwork, hunting equipment, and other merchandise. Tickets are $60 for an individual and $90 for a couple. The cost includes dinner, a one-year membership to Ducks Unlimited, and a door prize raffle. To purchase advance tickets or for more information, visit www.ducks.org and click on the events tab from the home page. Ducks Unlimited is a grass-roots, volunteer organization that promotes conservation and wildlife protection in North America.
