There will be two candidates for moderator and five candidates for two seats on the Board of Selectmen at Salisbury’s April 30 annual town election. With the retirement of Town Moderator Ronald Ray after 30 years of service, Selectman Jerry Klima and Ray’s daughter Ronalee Ray-Parrott are running for that seat. Meanwhile, incumbent Edwin Hunt, Freeman Condon, Ronald Laffely, Thomas Saab, and Paula Moore are running for two seats on the Board of Selectmen. For the one remaining office on the ballot, incumbent Deborah Choate is running for reelection to the Triton Regional School Committee. The election will be held in conjunction with the special state primary for the vacant US Senate seat formerly held by John Kerry.
