Appeals board meets Wednesday on housing


The Board of Appeals on Wednesday will hold a public hearing on a request from the Melrose Housing Authority for a special permit to convert a single-family home at 165 Trenton St. to a two-family dwelling.The authority has also requested relief from zoning requirements for minimum lot size, frontage, and width setbacks. The hearing will be held as part of the board’s regularly scheduled meeting, at 7:45 p.m. in the aldermen’s chamber at City Hall.
