Two contested races on selectmen ballot

There are two contested races for Board of Selectmen on the ballot for the April 8 annual town election. Incumbent Bob MacKendrick is being challenged by Recreation Commission chairman Tom Terranova, who also ran for selectman in 2012. There are also two candidates for the one-year unexpired term for selectman formerly held by the late Al Merritt, who resigned at the end of 2012, with Finance Committee chairman Philip Crawford running against Thomas Kennedy.
