At its last meeting, the Board of Selectmen named Teri McDonough as the executive director of the Marblehead Council on Aging. McDonough, who has worked as an outreach worker for the council for three years, will replace Pat Roberts on June 1. Roberts, who has held the post for 14 years, is retiring. McDonough is a licensed social worker and holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. The council serves 3,200 seniors a year, and its programs include van transportation, nutritional counseling, home-delivered meals, and daily recreation and fitness classes.
