Ryan McAuliffe , North Reading: The 6-foot-4 righty dominated Newburyport in a 9-1 victory, not allowing a hit for the first four innings and finishing his complete-game performance with 15 strikeouts. He followed with a 3-run inside-the-park home run in a 20-4 thrashing of Lynn Tech the next day.

Zarief Pajazetovic , Everett: Leading his team past undefeated Malden, the pitcher struck out 11 over six innings and aided his own cause with a two-run double in the first inning.

John Papasodora , Revere: The senior captain paced the Patriots to their second straight victory with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate, knocking in four runs and stealing four bases in a 12-3 win over Salem.
