Water, sewer billing moved to DPW operations center

The Department of Public Works has relocated water and sewer billing and metering functions from City Hall to its operations center at 72 Tremont St. The move is part of a plan to restructure the public works department to make it more customer-friendly. Most public works functions now are housed at the operations center, which is open weekdays, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Only engineering remains at City Hall.
