Andover: Dance Prism presents a new setting of the classical ballet “Don Quixote.” Based on a ballet originally produced in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1871, it explores the misadventures of the legendary Don and his comic servant Sancho Panza. Winchester: Join Winchester Community Music School for its annual Faculty Jazz Ensemble Concert, this year featuring the music of George Gershwin’s “Porgy & Bess.” Instrumental renditions of the show’s classic songs as have been recorded by jazz masters Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Potts, and Sir Roland Hanna.
