Pension: $99,536

Background: Served as superintendent in Somerville from 1993 to 2005 and previously as assistant superintendent in Lawrence and Silver Lake Regional in Kingston.

Wakefield,
Swampscott

Garry Murphy: Serving in Wakefield for 2012-2013 school year; in Swampscott for 2013-14

Salary: Part time in Wakefield, $70,200; to be negotiated in Swampscott

Pension: $109,675

Background: Murphy was interim superintendent at Hillsborough-Deering (N.H.) last year and an educational consultant for Arlington, Nashoba Valley, Groton-Dunstable, and Swampsccott between 2005 and 2010. He retired in 2005 after 13 years as superintendent for the Triton Regional School District.

Marblehead

Has yet to hire interim superintendent for the 2013-14 school year.
