College chorus to sing timeless tunes

Music from the last 500 years will be performed by the Northern Essex Community College Chorus during the annual spring choir concert scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in the Hartleb Technology Center on the college’s Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St. The performance is open to the public. Admission is $5. Tickets may be purchased at the door. The concert will feature this semester’s students as well as a few alumni performing the works of Thomas Morley (1557 to 1602); George Bizet (1838-1875); Richard Wagner (1813 to 1883); and a contemporary arrangement of John Williams.
