The city will begin hydrant flushing tomorrow in Beverly Farms and will continue the work on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 7 to 11 until August. According to the city, hydrants are flushed to determine their condition and to remove sediment buildup. The city warns that residents may see a temporary discoloration of the water and possibly lower water pressure during the flushing times. The city advises residents to let cold water run for a minute or two to allow the discoloration to clear. For more information, call the Beverly Water Department at 978-921-6057.
