A $450,000 overhaul to the Melrose Police Department’s dispatch center is complete, according to an announcement from the department. The work included implementing a new radio system and renovations to the dispatch center. The center was temporarily moved to City Hall when construction started in January. It was completed in late April. The city took out a bond last year to pay for the project.
