Town officials would like to remind those who plan to sell concessions at Town Day that they must secure a temporary concession permit from the local Board of Health. The permit application is available at winchester.us and must be submitted to the Board of Health by Friday. The permit fee is $50. Town Day, now in its 32d year, is an annual community party that is funded through the sales of exhibitor space, T-shirts, and hats, and by the generosity of local sponsors. This year’s celebration is scheduled to take place in town center on June 1. It is organized by the Winchester Town Day Committee, a group of volunteers. Town Day offers exhibits, games, athletic competitions, and great food and music. The festivities end with a fireworks display. For more information, visit http://townday.org/
