Town officials would like to remind those who plan to sell concessions at Town Day that they must secure a temporary concession permit from the local Board of Health. The permit application is available at and must be submitted to the Board of Health by Friday. The permit fee is $50. Town Day, now in its 32d year, is an annual community party that is funded through the sales of exhibitor space, T-shirts, and hats, and by the generosity of local sponsors. Town Day offers exhibits, games, athletic competitions, and great food and music. The festivities end with a fireworks display. For more information, visit
