GlobeNorth: Players of the Week, Top 10 boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams


Olivia Cabral , Phillips Andover: The junior scored five goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Big Blue downed Phillips Exeter, 12-11.


Abby Galloway-Burke , Methuen: The senior scored six goals in a 19-11 victory over Malden, capping her regular season with 104 points, including 87 goals.

Tim Hunt , Shawsheen: The senior led the Rams to a conference title with five goals and two assists in a 14-5 win over Blackstone Valley. Hunt scored five more in his next game, a 10-9 victory over Haverhill.

Catrina Longo , Billerica: The senior attack recorded five goals and four assists while classmate Lindsay Whiteway finished with four goals and two assists as the Indians beat Billerica, 13-9.

Kristy Robertson , Haverhill: The senior capped her stellar regular season with 11 goals in back-to-back games against Shawsheen and Lowell, raising her total to 116, which paced Eastern Massachusetts. She added five more in Monday’s 14-11 state tourney loss to Lowell.

1 Season the Revere High boys’ program has existed. The Patriots (9-8) qualified for the state tourney.

2 Consecutive Large School Vocational championships for Shawsheen, which clinched the title with a 14-5 win over Blackstone Valley last week.
