HarborWalk receives award

The Gloucester HarborWalk, which opened in 2012, recently received a Gold Medal from the American Alliance of Museums as part of its Media and Technology Muse Awards. The award acknowledged the “walking cinema” experience of the HarborWalk, which allows people to access videos from different locations along the self-guided tour by using smartphones or similar technology, along with the Internet. The award is given for achievement in the use of digital technology.
