The town is holding a public forum Thursday to gather input from residents on a new open space and recreation plan. The session will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gorman-Fort Banks Elementary School, 101 Kennedy Drive. Attendees will have a chance to offer their views on what the town’s open space and recreation goals should be for the next seven years, including those relating to conservation and open lands; parks, playing fields, and playgrounds; beaches and boating; and creating trails and paths to connect points of interest. The open meeting , is being organized by the town and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, which is helping prepare the plan.
