Albert F. Argenziano has started work as Beverly’s interim superintendent of schools. Argenziano succeeds Marie Galinski, who retired on June 30. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University and a master’s degree from Salem State University, and earned his doctorate from the University of Alabama. Argenziano served as Somerville’s superintendent from 1993-2005. Since retiring from that job, he has been an adjunct professor at Endicott College, the director of district services for the Massachusetts Office of Educational Quality and Accountability, and the managing director of the Marblehead Community Charter Public School.
