Board presented with finalists for town administrator

The Board of Selectmen has scheduled interviews this week with candidates for the vacant town administrator position. Consultants from the Edward J. Collins Jr. Center for Public Management at the University of Massachusetts presented the board with four finalists at its meeting last Monday: consultant William DiLibero, former town administrator in Charlestown, R.I.; Plaistow, N.H., Town Manager Sean Fitzgerald, a former chief of staff to the Peabody mayor; Belmont Assistant Town Administrator Kellie Hebert; and Seekonk Town Administrator Pamela Nolan. The interviews, to be conducted Wednesday through Friday, will be open to the public in the library at Proctor Elementary School, on Main Street. For more information, check the town’s website at www.topsfield-ma.gov. The job has been vacant since the June 30 retirement of Virginia Wilder.
