Gloucester recently hired a consultant to create an inventory of land parcels at Gloucester Harbor. Using a $400,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency, consultants from the Peabody-based engineering firm Weston & Sampson will take stock of private and public parcels along and near the harbor. Harbor planning director Sarah Garcia said that the first phase, to be completed this year, will include general information about the properties and known environmental conditions. Subsequent work under the same grant will gather more detailed information.
