The Newburyport Education Foundation is seeking golfers, sponsors, and donors for its fifth annual Newburyport Education Foundation Open, which is scheduled to take place July 22 at the Ipswich Country Club. The golf fund-raiser will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and features on-course contests, lunch and dinner, raffles, and a live auction. According to the foundation’s Greg Park, who is helping to organize the event, raffle prizes include tickets to a Patriots game and the Boston Symphony Orchestra as well as jerseys autographed by Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Paul Pierce. Additional donations and sponsorships will be accepted until July 21, Park said. Proceeds will benefit the city’s public schools. Registration fee is $225 per golfer. Over the years, the Newburyport Education Foundation Open has raised more than $75,000 for the city’s public schools. For more information or to register, visit wwwnewburyportef.org.
