Marijuana ordinances to be considered this week

Proposed zoning ordinances that would define medical marijuana treatment centers and limit their locations in Somerville will be considered this week. In June, Mayor Joseph Curtatone requested a one-year moratorium on allowing medical marijuana centers in the city in order to provide time for a review of state laws and changes to city ordinances. The Board of Aldermen’s land use committee will review the proposed changes in a meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
