Toshiba awards $31K in equipment to NuPath

A Woburn-based organization will receive $31,000 in technology equipment from Toshiba Corp. NuPath, which serves adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, was among five nonprofits nationwide selected by Toshiba to benefit this year from its Helping the Helpers Technology Makeover contest. Toshiba America Business Solutions, an independent operating company of Toshiba Corp., each year awards the makeover to recognize socially responsible nonprofits that are having a positive effect on their communities. Each recipient receives Toshiba products that include a multifunction copier, scanner, and printer; a desktop computer; a laptop; a high-definition television; a camcorder; and a tablet. Last Tuesday, state Representatives Jay R. Kaufman, a Lexington Democrat, and James J. Dwyer, a Woburn Democrat, planned to join NuPath and Toshiba executives to celebrate NuPath’s selection in the contest.
