Drain project forces detours


Work on a drain project will alter the traffic in downtown Marblehead for at least another week, according to the town. Since July 17, parts of Atlantic Avenue have been closed, though businesses have remained open. Detours have been established on Washington and Hawkes streets. Because of the construction and the detours, parking has been temporarily prohibited on either side of Washington Street from Five Corners to Hawkes Street.
