Residents can go out for pizza and support Burlington’s public library. On Tuesday, Aug. 6, Flatbread Company in Bedford is donating a portion of its pizza sales from 5 p.m. to closing to the Friends of the Burlington Public Library. A pair of box seat tickets to the Boston Red Sox Aug. 30 game at Fenway Park will also be raffled that evening. The Friends group raises money to support library programs. Meanwhile, the library’s Scrabble Club is preparing to host a youth Scrabble tournament on Aug. 15. The library hosts two youth Scrabble tournaments a year. Winning teams are awarded prizes. The Scrabble Club meets every Tuesday from 3:30-4:45 p.m. and is open to children in grades 4 through 8.
