Residents have several upcoming opportunities to see the two candidates for mayor in this year’s election: Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and City Council president Timothy Phelan . On Wednesday, the Lynn Community Association is holding a mayoral candidates’ forum at 7 p.m. at Temple Ahabat Shalom, 151 Ocean St. The event is free and open to all. Lynn Community Access and Media is also holding a mayoral candidates’ debate on Aug. 21 from 7-9 p.m. The debate will be aired live from LynnCAM’s studios on Comcast Channels 3 and 22 and Verizon Channels 37 and 38 as part of The City’s Voice, a program hosted by former mayor Albert V. DiVirgilio and Joe Spina. The LynnCAM’s debate will include a segment in which viewers can call in and ask a question. Because of limited space in the studio, anyone wishing to attend in person is asked to call LynnCAM in advance.
