The event, from 6 to 10:30 p.m., will feature dishes provided by 12 Wakefield food establishments. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance. Then on Saturday the festival continues with free, family-oriented activities from 2 to 8 p.m. on portions of Main and Albion streets Businesses will offer their goods in outdoor tents as well as in their stores. There will also be street vendors, a rock-climbing wall, a beer garden, musical entertainment, children’s activities, and a “wheel of chance,” in which participants spin a wheel to win gift certificates.
