Holiday Inn replaces nightclub with bar and grill

The Holiday Inn on Washington Street in Somerville has opened a new bar and grill, replacing a nightclub that was the site of a large fight and raucous crowd in December. A fight involving about a dozen women and surrounded by a crowd of more than 100 people broke out outside Night Games, the club in the hotel, on Dec. 28. The club was temporarily shut down by the city’s inspectional services before closing permanently. On July 25, Draft, a restaurant and function facility, opened at the location, according to an announcement from the hotel chain.
