Pizza party fund-raiser for family in need

On Aug. 25, Neighbor2Neighbor is holding a pizza party fund-raiser for the Capobianco-Dalton family, who was displaced by a fire that severely damaged their home on June 30. The benefit will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the senior center on Harvard Street. Tickets are $10, or $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased by calling Mary Lou Osborne at 617-846-8838, or by stopping by the senior center or Kathy’s Place Youth Center on Putnam Street. Tickets will also be available at Michael’s Mall on Putnam Street next Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds from the party will go to an account that has been set up for the family at East Boston Savings Bank. Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so by dropping by any branch of that bank. Donations should be made out to the Capobianco-Dalton Family Fund.
